7 Cruelty-Free Lists || Lists That Make Cruelty-Free Beauty Shopping Easy

This will make shopping for cruelty free beauty so much easier.

Here are 7 Cruelty Free Lists!

They have a "Companies That Do Not Test on Animals" list and "Companies That Do Test on Animals" list.
The site is easy to navigate and you can search by name.
You can download the lists as a pdf file.

You can search for the company by name. You can look up company name alphabetically.
They offer a free app for iPhone and Android for free.

In addition to being an awesome beauty blog, Tashina contacts companies and keeps the list updated.
Companies that are vegan are clearly marked. Also there is a distinction between cruelty free companies that have a non-cruelty-free parent company.

The list includes companies that are PETA and LeapingBunny certified. Also, if there is a correspondence between the company on the list and Suzi (the author of Cruelty-Free Kitty).
The list is also kept updated. This is also a great beauty blog.

Here companies that have some vegan products and, or vegetarian products are labeled.
There is also a label for companies that meet cruelty-free criteria but "some products contain animal ingredients or killed insects." The list is kept updated.

This list categories beauty, drugstore, and household products. There is also a list of companies that sell in China, which as you know requires animal testing. I like the layout and I'm sure you will do. There is a lot of information that is easy to read and not overwhelming.

Here you will find a list for Sephora and Ulta specific brands. There are clear labels between vegan, Leaping Bunny certified, and parent company status. There is also helpful guides for going cruelty free.

I hope these resources help you out. I know I refer to them almost daily. Let me know if you know if any other lists.

12 eyeshadow "Hot Pots" for $1.95 each || Create Your Own Affordable Makeup Palette

Disclaimer: Not sponsored .

I love these warm tones! Can I just say! Even before they became trendy. I came across these Coastal scents Hot Pots, after Googling reviews for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. I love those orange and berry shadows.  However, I really didn't want to pay 50ish dollars. Also, I looked for it inUlta, Sephora, Macy's, JC Penny, any retail store that sells makeup and could not find it.

Each Hot Pot was $1.95. The palette is sold separately and it was $5.95. This palette does not have a mirror but they do sell ones with a mirror. They have sooooo many Hot Pots. I mean you can spend an entire day looking through all the Hot Pots and creating your dream palette or multiple palettes.

I find the quality comparable to my Too Faced Chocolate Palette. The mattes are especially comparable. The swatches are brush swatches and I noticed fall out with when swatching on my arm. However, when I blend out my crease I hadn't noticed that. I found it weird because I've never had that issue on my eyes.  They are easy to blend.

I want to share my favorite shadows from the palette and my least favorite. I bought them online and the only reference was a picture and so I didn't know to what they would look like.

In order from favorite to least favorite:

1. Pumpkin Pie
2. Barista
3. Petal Peach
4. Pomegranate Red
5. Paprika
6. Deep Roast
7. Caramelized
8. Raisin Berry
9. Amber Bronze
10. Chocolate Berry
11. Caramel Ice*
12. Deep Cantaloupe*

I wanted to mention that the reason I don't love (I still do like it and use) "Caramel Ice" is that it is a pinky cool-toned shimmer. I prefer golden shimmers. However, I do like it.

I don't love (I still do like it and use)"Deep Cantaloupe" because I expected it to be more vibrant. If you want the vibrant orange, almost neon look, you need a base. (I like using LaLa by ColourPop).

The palette is small and thin. I can almost grab it like my iPhone 7 plus.

Here I wanted to show that I added a bit of Alchemy by ColourPop. It is a great shadow that depending on the eyeshadow underneath it will give a different affect.

I hope you enjoyed this post and give this Hot Pots a try!
